OVERALL REFLECTIONS

 REFLECTION:

By learning this subject I can understand what is actually teacher's responsibilities toward students to make sure students are educated.Besides,teacher also have to know how to work with school with the rules.

Encik Yusuf is the best lecturer for this subject.He give a great explanation through all the subject.He also guided us to do our assignment as well as he can.It was so lucky to have him as our lecturer.He is so talented lecturer.Besides teaching,he also always share his experiences to us that we can apply it into this subject.

First assignment,that is make this blog is very challenging to me because before this I did not have any blog.So,it is little bit hard for to handle this blog.But practice make perfect.So,I practice creating this blog also that is teaching by Encik Yusuf.

Second assignment,was not so easy but I can do it as well as I can.By doing mock teaching,I learn to teach students and get the experiences,It was so interesting actually and I am so happy with this assignment eventhough doing a lesson plan was little bit hard.

So,this is the last week before final exam.It is so sad that knowing this subject will meet the end.However,time will fly.So,I hope all my classmates and other students that take this subject for this semester can do their best in Final Examination.Goodbye :).Sayonara.

Gather the students around the chalkboard and tell them that you want them to describe all the ways what they can think of to wreck their classroom.
When finished, discuss what type of a classroom it would be if all of their ideas actually happened.
From there, talk about what kind of ‘rules’ they can create so that none of these ideas would be allowed to happen in their classroom


Establishing the psychological environment Thru

Voice tone- sense of physical and emotional safety for students, an attractive classroom tone – uses light, color, temperature,
Task orientation- build a positive task-oriented place, and
Organization- build clear, concise, concrete limits defining appropriate behavior and learning, and build rules and class room routines.

Discovery Learning

What is Discovery Learning?


  • Discovery learning is when students finding or figuring out by themselves.

Purpose of Discovery Learning 

  • To get learners to think for themselves
  • To help learners discover how knowledge is formulated
  • To promoter higher-order thinking
Characteristics of Discovery Learning
  • Teachers set a stage for knowledge discovery
  • Teachers rewards exploration and independent thought
  • Learners accept the challenge of finding out things for themselves
  • Learners operate at higher order cognitive levels



4 Forms of Knowledge in Discovery Learning
Concepts: A concept is the name that describes a class of ideas or objects.
Questions that promotes Discovery Learning.

Facts: A fact is a truth
e.g.

Generalization: A generalization is an inference.
That may not be universally true but is widely supported.

What Are Learning Styles?

  • Cognitive dimension (auditory vs visual)
  • Affective dimension (personality characteristic such as anxiety,expectancy and level of motivation)

At the first,I think this topic is little hard to understand it but after En.Yusuf,my lecturer give  the explanation about this topic actually it is not to hard to understand.Furthermore,my classmates help me too much to understand this topic.

My full name is Nur Elfa Rysha Binti Ibrahim.Some call me Elfa and some call me Farysha.But to me it is okay as long as it is my name.So, I dont really care what people call me.I was born on 7th August 1997 at Hospital University Sains Malaysia Kubang Kerian,Kelantan.I lived in Kampung Panji which is one of the village that in progress.I'm a youngest one in my family.Eventhough,I'm the youngest one it is doesn't means my parents pampered me too much okay!

Okay,now about my family 👪

My father's name is Ibrahim Bin Mat.He was born on 13th June 1955.So,he's 62 now.He's a contractor.For now,he is my boyfriend,my bestfriend and also sometimes he is my bank 😜.

My mother's name is Faridah Binti Ismail.She was born on 14th July 1958.So,she's 59 now.My mother is full time housewife.Absolutely,she is my bestfriend,my listener,my chef and the best instructor too 😅.

I have seven siblings including me 💁.I have four beautiful sisters and two not too handsome brothers 👥.And,in addition,I have three four brother in law and six nieces.So,that's means all my sisters are married!💕💞.I'm happy for them,sobs sobs 😢.But,both of my brothers are still single but not available.

I believe that as a teacher,teaching is a 'core business' that have to do with a full of responsibility and sincerity to teach students from differs race,religion and their principle.A successful teacher is a teacher that have a high comprehension towards the subject that he/she teach as in the theory of pedagogy.As an educator/teacher,also have to make the best choice towards what and how to structure and organize the teaching materials as required in curriculum.

A role of a teacher is as a facilitator.I have to encourage students to be an independent student in class.However,I realized that students have it own ways to learn.So that,I have to be comited towards student's participant in learning process.

I have to diversify my styles of teaching and strategies.I am also have to involve my students in all teaching and learning activities.Further than more.technology nowadays is also important as a medium to help all teachers to diversify a pattern of teaching since its introduction.It's encourage students in learning process.
